Hello, I’m Caitlin!
Registered Occupational Therapist/RASP Registered
I’m the owner and occupational therapist behind Purple Paintbrush Therapy.
I began building Purple Paintbrush Therapy in October 2026. The name was inspired by the beautiful paintbrush flower, a native mountain wildflower that blooms locally in the summer. For me, the name reflects the connection to nature and the community that I now call home.
I’m originally from England, where I graduated from York St John University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Since graduating, my career has taken me around the world, working with children and their families as a pediatric OT, which has always been at the heart of what I do.
I began my career at a specialist school supporting autistic children in UK before moving to Delhi, India, where I worked at a private peds therapy clinic and embassy schools. My next adventure brought me to British Columbia, drawn in by the mountains and rivers!
After gaining my Canadian occupational therapy license, I continued working in a pediatric setting in the Okanagan and providing online therapy to children in the Northwest Territories. Along the way, I found myself returning to Clearwater during the summer and fall, spending more and more time in the community, river and surrounding mountains.
Eventually, Clearwater stopped feeling like somewhere I was visiting and started feeling like home.
That led me to create Purple Paintbrush Therapy, a local pediatric occupational therapy practice where I can bring together my years of experience, my love of working with children and families, and my connection to this community and the surrounding area.
My goal is to provide children and families with practical, meaningful and individualized support that fits into real life, while creating a space where therapy can be engaging, playful and centered around what matters to each child and family.
